Community Unity Day: Our first community outreach event was a success!

Community Unity Day brought people together for an afternoon of joy, connection, and community power. People showed up with their family, neighbors, and smiles. Our first community outreach event was a success and the vibe was simple: eat well, dance a little, win some stuff, and most importantly, get connected to real community resources.

We were joined by amazing organizations who informed the community about voting rights, community safety, public education issues, financial literacy, and more.

    As I recap my weekend, I’m still smiling about the time I spent at Magnified Voices’ Community Unity event.
    I had the chance to table for work. Moments like this remind me how meaningful my role is—connecting families and individuals to financial literacy and accessible banking tools. Even more special, my son got to be there with me.

    Making Connections WMNF was present at Magnified Voices “Community Unity Day” it was a pleasure to be invited and see how they are speaking truth to power and meeting the community where they are 🙌🏽 and I ran into Union Members, Vincent Jones several candidates like Brian Nathan a candidate we interviewed a few weeks ago. It was fantastic to see community from all walks of life connecting.

  • Incredible Work is Being Done!

    Community Unity Day was everything. We gathered together to uplift, support, and strengthen one another. We had fun, made new friends, and enjoyed good food! Incredible work is being done by many wonderful organizations, with special thanks to Magnified Voices, Florida Justice Center, League of Women Voters of the US, and All Voting is Local for letting me be a part of it.
